SoftEgg’s Timon Marmex will be playing live at Rockage in San Jose this Friday at 9pm! Even better, he will be doing demos of Rhythm Core Alpha 2 all weekend long! This is a great chance for all the Northern California folks to not only catch Timon Marmex in action, but also to learn the ins and outs of Rhythm Core Alpha 2!

It looks like we won’t be attending Magfest this year after all. We only got our approval for the indie arcade space a week ago, and were not able to confirm our travel and lodging situation before all of the hotels close to the convention had sold out, and so it became too expensive to reasonably attend. We’re sorry to all of the folks who expected us to be there… we really wanted to go!
We are still planning to attend other events a little closer to home, including Frequency and Rockage.
We also hope to be at the San Diego STEAM Maker Fest next weekend, assuming that I have gotten over this nasty cold that kept me from presenting at Loscon this past weekend.
Anyway, our best wishes to anybody going to Magfest. Perhaps we could send along some flyers or something…
We just talked with Eric Fanali from the Rockage event in San Jose and have confirmed that they have a place for us to demo Rhythm Core Alpha 2 and even to sneak in a Timon Marmex performance or two between the bands.
This is very exciting for us! Long ago we did live in the SF bay area for about a year and it always holds a special place in our heart. We know so many awesome chiptune artists up in the bay area and have been honored to share the stage with Slime Girls and Crashfaster as well as many others, so being able to play up there is a big deal for us!
So, San Francisco Bay Area folks be sure to check us out at Rockage 3.0!
