DS lite would require us to manufacture cartridges, and the minimum orders and costs associated with that are very high. Perhaps a later version will be manufactured, but right now we can’t afford it.


The European release for DSiWare seems like it might be at the end of January. We don’t have an official date until Nintendo of Europe gets back from holiday on the 14th of January.
